You have begun to master the ability to change how you feel at will. You have done it while contemplating the performance you want to improve. This is a practice. You have done it now. When, in your daily life, this struggle begins to happen, remember this practice. You have already done it.

You have rehearsed this mentally. Your body has memorised it.

Think of the times of the day when you might struggle. These are performances that you want to improve. I’m sure you can think of a few! I definitely can.

Go back now and practise this Powerful Performance exercise with these moments in mind. When you do the exercise, really try to feel the sense of calm and control in your body. Feel your muscles soften. Notice the power and control in your breath. You are in control of your breath.

You are in control of how you are reacting. You are in control of your powerful performance. You can conquer the struggle. You can change how you feel at will. You can improve your performance at will. Memorise these feelings. Let them seep into you.

You’re ready for your performance.
